A month after the Treasure Hunt Game ended, Kaname has established his own clan and is training at the Danjo Boxing Club. Danjo, the head of the boxing club, puts forth a challenge to Kaname for a match.

Following his defeat by Kaname in the Treasure Hunt Game, Wang seeks vengeance by abducting Shinozuka, a friend of Kaname, and mutilating him by cutting off his fingers. Consumed by guilt for involving his friend in the dangers of the D-Game, Kaname is distraught. During this time, Rein comes back with information about Wang’s hideout and detailed insights into the Eighth Clan’s fighting capabilities.
